On behalf of the Board of Management of the Mississauga 55 Plus Cari-Can Group, Members and myself, I offer congratulations and best wishes to Lorena Smith, on the announcement of her retirement.
Lorena served as the Community Development Coordinator of Older Adults for the City of Mississauga. In her role, Lorena assisted, worked with, advised and guided all of the Senior Groups affiliated with the City of Mississauga. We, as Seniors, do appreciate the work done by Lorena, and her significant contribution to the groups
We thank her for her work. She worked closely with Wilma Francis our P.R.O., Rita Challenger our Secretary, Lorna Noel our Assistant P.R.O. and Roy Maynard one of our Trustees. Lorena will also be remembered for the work done with our Constitution Committee in the updating and rewriting of our Constitution – a bedrock of our organization.
Lorena, have a restful, happy, healthy, enjoyable and memorable retirement. May you have a reflective time of pleasure and rest.
